Josh G - The Ties That Bind - Twin Cities Drum N Bass Volume 5

Josh Gore started playing guitar and composing music in 1988 at the age of 11.  After several years, bands, and albums, he became acquainted with early jungle & hardcore...he was instantly hooked - a true Junglist for Life.  

In 1999 Josh began gigging regularly playing Jungle & Hardcore under the name "Anti-Cop".  During this time, he had also began putting together some of his very first Jungle/Drum n Bass productions including several songs that had been released on the back of many of the mix tapes & mix cds he was distributing throughout the midwestern United States at the time.  In 2006 Josh switched his DJ name from Anti-Cop to Josh G while continuing to broaden his horizons within the world of Drum n Bass & Jungle music.  He and fellow djs dirtydub, BluePauly2, and DJL formed "One Love Productions" shortly thereafter...a dj crew dedicated to bringing the many styles of electronic music to a scene that is dominated by indy rock, pop, and mainstream hip hop.

Josh has been influenced by a very wide variety of music throughout his life from Death Metal bands like Obituary, Deicide, and Cannibal Corpse, Reggae artists such as Eek A Mouse, Toots & The Maytals, and Jimmy Cliff to bands like The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and Phish.  His pallet is diverse, and you can hear this in his music.  His original productions and his dj mixes both demonstrate an artistic blur of his many influences.
