The South Yard first release is out now, "Babylon Bwoy"!!

"Babylon Bwoy" is the track that gives the title to the release, the first collaboration between Kursiva & Dubtime but for sure not the last. 
Created in Bristol, the cradle of  of the genre, "Babylon Bwoy" is a fat tune with a dancehall beat, amen breaks, deep bassline and the huge voice of Baby Cham, perfect ingredients for get a badman tune with the old school jungle vibes mixed with the newest and keenest sound.
This tune was played in the Dj Target Show at BBC 1Xtra, Benny Page says that is one of the top tunes in his 2016 sets, it will be included in the 4th Jungle Cakes album and is one of the tunes that we choose for introduce ourself.

“Babylon Bwoy” es el título que da nombre al proyecto y al primer tema,compuesto por Kursiva y Dubtime.

Primera colaboración juntos y desde luego que no será la última.
Este track fue creado en la  ciudad de Bristol, cuna de nuestro estilo y es un tema de corte dancehall, con batería amen break, bajos profundos y la potente voz del cantante Baby Cham. Ingredientes perfectos para obtener un temazo que recuerda las junglist vibes mas old school a la vez que las combina con el sonido mas actual y afilado. 
Ya ha sonado en BBC 1Xtra,  en el programa de Dj Target, Benny Page dice que es uno de los top tunes de sus sets de 2016 y será incluido en el 4º álbum de Jungle Cakes.

Dia De Muertos. A dry flinty wind blows tumbleweeds along the dusty street like a pack of lazy dogs. The hangman rides his thirsty horse into the border town of La Calavera, as deserted as a cemetary in the afternoon heat. Everyone knows of the notorious gang of gundoleros known as the Chopstick Posse, and his fee will be large. He walks across to the inn. The Sheriff’s relief is obvious as he hands the silver and a bottle of local mezcal to the hangman. He reaches inside his shirt and pulls a leather pouch off his neck, extracting a heavy antique key on a brass chain, and leaves it on the table. Glancing once more at the hangman, he takes back the tequila and leaves quickly. The hangman shrugs, signals for another bottle, and rolls a cigarillo from his pouch of green mexican..
Hours later, after the blood-red glow of the setting sun has faded from the sky, the hangman turns the key in the darkness and pushes open the rusty door. He holsters his pistol, and his cockney accent filters through the haze. “you alright?”. Another English voice replies from the corner “We’re just about outta spliff mate” , continued by an American - “but not outta bullets”. The room chuckles. Seven of Mexico’s most wanted gundoleros, one crowded stucco cell, and a haze of dank smoke. The metallic clacking sound of guns loading fills the darkening room, as the glowing cigarillos are
crushed out one by one. “Shall we wake the Sheriff?”
