@ummsbiaus is an experimental electronic musician and multidisciplinary artist, native of Kyïv/UA. “My project is not only about music: it's about the idea of combining all possible forms of art to evoke feelings on different levels of perception.”

About the track

Moving through the silence after crossing the Polish-Ukrainian border, the closer the bus gets to the city of Kyïv, the broader the emotional palette becomes, little by little. If homesickness was a genre of music, you’d probably find it beneath every one of ummsbiaus' songs on Bandcamp. The track Exodus: Heimweh features echoes of the chorus from her song Dodomu, layered with noises and lyrics written on her way to Kyïv back in July 2024. This feeling is no longer a burning fire, no longer an elated anticipation – it is a pile of ash blowing towards home, trying to reunite at the sight of the dearest blooming slopes.
