The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Junkfile. The Bogotá-born, New York-based DJ, producer and promoter is also the founder of Agapē collective and Agapē Records. He has played in some of the most beloved clubs in NYC, including H0l0, Elsewhere, Bossa Nova Civic Club, 99 Scott, and many others and his sound is known for fast rhythms, mental grooves, and deep basslines. Sharing stages with Sara Landry, Trym, Shlømo,Volvox, Wndrlst, Pawlowski, Julia Govor, AADJA, P.E.A.R.L., Desna, and more, Junkfile has left an indelible mark in the community he has fostered. With releases on So-Tight Records and an upcoming EP on his own Brooklyn-based label, his journey continues to evolve. Today we are thrilled to present this powerful journey through his sound.

Bogotá-born Junkfile moved to NYC in 2020, launching his career as a DJ, promoter, and producer. As the founder of the event platform ÄGAPĒ and the label ÄGAPĒ RECORDS, he has contributed significantly to the city’s techno scene, playing at H0l0, Elsewhere, Bossa Nova Civic Club, 99 Scott, and more.

He has shared stages with Hadone, Annē, Julia Govor, AADJA, P.E.A.R.L, VOLVOX, DJ BONE, Bours?, The Chronics, Desna, Frazi.er, Shlømo, Vladimir Dubyshkin, and others. With releases on So-Tight Records, upcoming EPs on ÄGAPĒ RECORDS and Illegal Rythm, and a VA feature on Modul London, Junkfile shows no signs of slowing down, continuously pushing the boundaries of the local scene and beyond.
