During an odyssey I recently undertook, I discovered this snippet of text in the Museum of Literature in Dublin. It’s from "Ulysses" (1923) by James Joyce (1882-1941) and I liked it immediately. The passage comes from the episode "Cyclops", in which the novel's hero, Bloom, opposes division and prejudice.

The picture shows the very first printing of the first edition of the book, exhibited in a display case on the third floor of the museum.

 - The typical example of a musical title that artificial intelligence will never be able to design or produce.
The remarkable precision of our electronic music is far too perfect, it lacks colors, emotions, imperceptible details of imprecision which gives it a different flavor.
So I inflict hours of torment on myself in this area to break and circumvent this precision, which is certainly a good thing, but which harms the development of my music which I wish to be human.

Well it's hard to wake up the morning after;
blood shot eyes.
Pounding head screams why?
It's all about that night.

Dance floor colour sings;        
the beer and wine.
That was the old days.
We left it all behind.

The fan swirls on the side table,
blankets off, the summer heat, 
sweat on the pillow.
...as the air conditioning pushes and grinds.
it's morning, grab the day.
