Hi everyone.

Anyone that knows me and knows me well will know that I've been through a little rough time in my life and for one reason or another I've fallen into a little bit of depression. 
So with this I lost a lot of confidence and decided to take a break.
This, however, is my first real Mix back, I'm not over it properly, but I feel I'm starting to get better, so this is the first mix I've done in what feels like ages. 
Hope you all like it, and please forgive any ropey mixing.

This is the 1st show of the new year on the RIOT Radio Show in 2024 and it's our annual 'Squigglier the Better' STRICTLY acid music only show in honour of RIOTeer #1 Paul Burke. This year Nomad's challenger for the 'Squigglier the Better' acid crown is Raconteur303 aka Martin McCue from Glasgowland. It was a close call last year when Nomad was up against the acidegg genius of Jimmy MacEgg aka EGEBAMYASI for which Nomad lost the crown in 2023. It was indeed a hard fought battle, but what do you expect? It was EGEBAM(FECKIN)YASI FFS. Anyone would fail to match that calibregg. But OMG has Nomad got a run for his money again in 2024's 1st show of the year. It's gonna be full blown all over the place SQUIGGLIN' AT YA ACID once more. Will Nomad win get his crown back? WAKA XINXI was impressed by classical music from an early age, and started her  DJ career in 2022.

She is known for her unique style of techno music, skilfully weaving together dark, deep sounds, hard groups, and industrial elements, and captivating her audience with free, exciting, liberated rhythms. In a short period of time since her debut, she has gained experience performing at major clubs such as WOMB, Zero Tokyo, Aoyama hachi, OATH, Sankeys, ONE's, the church, and Cela Vi Tokyo, as well as BARs and LOUNGEs. She has especially performed at WOMB's regular parties. His unique style has been highly praised, including serving as a resident DJ at BLOOM and 06S (SECTION NINE).

Since 2023, she has also been passionate about creating music, and is one of the DJs whose future is highly anticipated.

"I was very happy to collaborate with Revok at Aoyama HACHI. I love that techno music doesn't have any answers and is open to different interpretations.

I recorded this mix in my friend Ryota Koga’s studio. Thank you for lending me your studio.  I think I was able to create a mix that lets you feel a variety of rhythms. I hope you enjoy my mix."
