Quantized SH Noise Sequence

This is the first two channel recording made with a pair of hydrophones I built. I took them over to the manmade waterfall in the center of Stow Lake and then tossed them in to one of the pools.

Stow Lake Waterfall - Hydrophone Recording

Entirely made "in the box" modular synthesis without those pesky email machines. No editing. No EDM sample packs. No MIDIs were harmed in the making of this video.

The melody is derived from a Z3000 which is fed as an LFO into the Sport Modulator. The Sport Modulator is then funneled into Quantimator to tune it up and then hand fed into another Z3000. The bass is from a third Z3000 VCO.

Sport Melodator

Grooving around with the modular. Recorded straight through a Mackie 1202-VLZ to a Tascam DR-100 MKII.

A straight run through for maudibe on Muff's.

Be super careful playing this on your speakers. The last section with just the direct BP Output is pretty harsh.

Tiptop HATS808 - RAW Unprocessed Sound

Another straight run through for maudibe on Muff's. This just some random twiddling on the Trigger Riot with the Z8000 used to automate accents and decay on the HATS808.

Recorded though the MIXZ into a Tascam DR-100 MKII.

BGP Fail

Nothing too special. A fellow Muff Wiggler asked to hear some audio recorded through the Tiptop Audio MIXZ. I just happened to have recorded this a day ago for another reason. So here it is in the raw.

EquaComp 03

A continuation of the last post containing some more audio from the Microbe Equation Composer being passed through the Tiptop Audio MIXZ.

The drums are the Tiptop 909 series modules along with the Trigger Riot as the controlling element. The synth part is a ER-101 squencing a Z3000 > Z2040 > ZDSP > Halls of Vallhalla | Z5000 phrase.

One take through a dirty old old Mackie 1202 VLZ straight to a Tascam DR-100 MKII. Modular sequence, modular sound sources.

Gingham

Modular beat noodle. The very beginning is just the MA808 without any other audio. The ATTACK is swept back and forth manually. The melody is created by running the MA808 noise output into the Sport Modulator. The ER-101 triggers all of the drums other than the MA808 which is triggered using the Z8000. The Trigger Riot provides the clock as well as the trigger for the Sport Modulator sample and hold. It seems that the left channel recorded lower. Oops.
