Then we have a match, where it's up to youall to pick yer fav, and IMPROVE it! Yeha, fer yer vote, you gotta add on to the character! It can be just some bettr formattin' for someathose older trash pieces, maybe you addin a concept buff 'er somethin', I dunno... but, then, after votin' closes, the idea that won? Gets those 'er buffs! Well, at least... as many that seemed common, or ones that I persenally liked. Maybe we can holda sorta vote if I like more than one… we’ll see. Oh, and the loser? I've got 12 different ideas 'ere, a seta 4 from 3 seperate whole scrapped projedohickies, can you believe it? We'll be goin' through all of 'em, but don't expect too much ofa schedule... it's just gonna be a match when I can do it, ye know? Ah, Father Mooshroom... a mooshroom from Minecraft mixed with tha Father Mushroom from Ivanuska, the Lemon Demon song thing. Or, I guess moreso that actual mushroom man from the MST3K episode the song's referencin'. This one was aparta this project called 'Every Jam At Once'- based on the genre website dohickey spotify has. They picked two super obscure or just plain funny genres from there and tried goin' an' makin' a character from it. Which is a fine enough gimmick I guess, until you see that the genres picked were also meant to function as a flavor/media source too? Which can get mighty confusin'. 

Here, we got "Russian Pixel" and "Pixel" as his 'Jam'. Though I guess they used to be specifically 
"Russian Minecraft" and "DreamSMP"- can't say spotify didn't do nothin' for ya, they destroyed dreamsmp and replaced it with... er... pixels. You can geta sense of what they pull from the track itself.

In terms of fixin 'em up, I'd say just givin' 'im proper sources in place of the genre wackyness could be an improvement already... but whatta I know, I'm just a trash wizard!

This mooshroomy fella managed to always keep a lead compared to the goombuds, and he also got a lot more ideas for buffs 'cause of it. At least, uh, normal buff wise. Tonsa different options it seemed. I tried my best to add in some of my favorite unique ones while keepin' the biggins too.

One thing I found mighty interestin' was how... almost halfa the people decided to keep the 'Jam' formattin'? If ye all went through and had the majority, I migha just been forced to keep it! Ye also really liked buffing mushrooms to fungi specifically... is there really that mucha difference between those? Or are y'all just bein' fancy? You humans all got yer quirks, I guess...

In termsa concept buffs, there were a few in here, but nona them really called out to me as ones I really wanted ta use. Still loved the creativity with 'em though... maybe next time, heheh!

I was really holdin' out hope for these two fellas.... but hey, at least tha goombuds didn't get stomped!

Despite gettin' the lower amount of votes, these two had somea my fav ideas from ye all... in fact, this woulda been the first character to have a votable buff! The top one is just tha one I made from their base sourcelist, but there were two other concepts I was really wantin to put in the runnin...

There'll be a sendoff for 'em (that'll be the next track before we get back with the next two), but after that, they won't be appearin' ever again.  At least officially, ye know. Y'all are free to use 'em in whatever, or make fantracks or whatnot, as long as at least some credit is handed over to yer old pal Nikolas.

First repeat of'a projectdohikey... back inta Hypnospace. These two are an odd bunch- based one onea those TikToks that they rep, I think it said it was made by AtomicTwins or somethin? I dunno... The important thing is that it had some steampunk people called "Tick" and "Tock" and that 30 second vid created a character somehow, heh.

These two are honestly, eh, not tha worst? Could definitely use a bit more... Maybe try and tie 'em to an actual steampunk media instead of just tha vague concept? Or just expand on some made up lore for 'em, there's plenty a angles for yer sub to go.

This one was a tough match, with it constantly switching every now 'nd then... but it eventually ended up on these three! Interestinly, a LOT of the buffs for these fellas, at least the concept ones, were really just about adding newcomers. Which is certainly what the original was doin', heheh. 

And, well, ya may notice that their sourcelist doesn't seem all that changed. This is cause, well... I actually found some concept buffs that I really liked! So... be on the lookout in a few days to see how we're gonna deal with those... Ya won't want to miss it! And it'll, ya know, show the actual buffs y'all made.

Ya know, I think I can appreciate these twho's whole sense a historical enterest. But the votin' declares they'll be the ones leavin'.  Which was honestly a surprise ta me, considerin' the others walked up with 3 game series and a flavor, but maybe they just had the better potential? Who's ta say.

There were a lota conceptual buffs this timea round though, and I chose a few of my favorites ta highlight. One'a them ties them to Frostpunk, which is somethin' that makes plenty of sense, and then the other makes 'em inta the evil mad scientist trope, like with that Dr. Horrible guy or Dr. Steel. Similar tone and genres as theyr steampunk stuff and honestly I thought it went along with tha TickTock stuff too.

I see tha horror rises above the cheery... but I can't blame ya, it's interestin' to dive into and see all ya get. In terms 'a buffs though, it's mainly just some fleshin' out at the moment. I'm a little suprised at how often "pairs" was kept fer some reason- but I guess the wackier sources can stay, as a treat.

Now, I will say that there was a really neat concept buff for these two that I think woulda worked great, but... it was tha only one, and just doin' a litlle vote for "should they get more" feels a little silly, heheh... but maybe hold on to that one for the next time 'round, I'm sure there'll be competing ideas by then...

Another folk from the ol' E'ery Jam At Once! This'n seems to be less an established person and moreso some sorta concept character, based on all those escape room games ye'd play during your computer lab time back'n the day. Not too sure where that... clown motif comes from though..

Sourceswise, the big question for the EJAOers is always with their gimmick genre sources. Escape Room (alongside tha actual genre) would easily get all the stuff like, eh, Escape. And eh, rooms? Being trapped? Sure. Then ya got Proto-Hyperpop, which just sorta nets... anything associated with Hyperpop? That sounds about right.

In terms a' buffs, I feel like this'n is almost a blank slate! Y'all can go as crazy as you want with no direct source to pull from. I may suggest tryin' to keep the Escape Room genre around though- or at least lookin' into what all the spotifiers claim fall under it. It's pretty wacky, heheh.

I think this guy has some potential though, MAD's got a ton'a bits yer able to pull from, and honestly I think the addition 'o style parodies is a neat idea- even if there's like, maybe two people who do them, heheh.

When I first found this one, I was a little confused myself. What did most a those things have ta do with each other? But really leanin' in, getting a feel for what they got goin- really makes me sad ta see 'em leave now. But, ya know, we can save sentamentals for later. Fer now, let's talk buffs.

Despite bein' a conceptual OC- nothin' suuper huge was thrown around fer them, just one er two big ideas and that was about it. A lot of it seemed ta be through buffin their existin' sources- which, suprisingly, almost all of yer buffs kept Escape Room in. Which I'm just glad ta see, tons of wild stuff that counts under that.

In terms o' the buffs ye put in, one was combinin' this mouse-head with another, from some sorta youtube animation person? Iunno, but it seems ta make sense. Then there's one leanin' into a bit of an 'escapism' angle, with all the nostalgia that comes along with it. Lastly, a mysterious magician concept, playin' off of the whole whodini whatchamahasit escape stuff and the circus theme they got. (I was never one fer stage magic myself, too many skeptics pointin' out when i'm too lazy to actually use my powers...)

...As much as I'd like ta say this one was at least a little even, it seemed like this'n was always in the lead from the start. Which I guess isn't too odd a concept- I'm sure many folk remember the show, even if not super fondly, and it does seem ripe for a buncha neat ideas.

Which, if ya pay attention, it looks like we'll be actually dealin' with soon. In fact, we may even have more options than just tha two DRH had... it'll be a doozy, I just know it!

Just, ya know, all that'll only happen after we give their opponent a worthy sendoff.

Honestly I was a little suprised that the normal one ended up on top, but I guess the buffs weren't too big of a draw fer some. But that's fine, sometimes I just wanna show off the creative n' cool ideas, even if they don't end up gettin' close to winnin'. Outside'a the one that almost won, that is.

In terms'a sourcelist changes, I really just added on tha comics source ta normal Newscaster. There were comics in both the TV show and tha magazine so, it makes enough sense.

As always, buffs don't get any sorta sendoff, so expect the next track to not be that! Be sure to keep yer eyes out though... and expect tha next upload in the new year. (It's a busy season fer me, people buyin' stuff they don't need just to give to their friends 'n family... I just hope they don't mind if there's a few curses left on 'em, heheh...)

Yep, yer reading that shadowy bracket right, Round 2 will see yer winners from R1 facin' some new faces! But which ones will tickle yer votin' and buffin' fancy? The ones ye already know, or the new folk? We'll just hafta see! (And, ye may notice a few clues thrown around in regards ta the new four's identities... ya don't get anything fer guessin' them beforehand, but, y'know... thought I should throw ya a bone, heheh...)

A few other things ta note: This round I'm gonna be addin' a fifth bullet fer you to fill so I'd highly recommend gettin' in some concept or otherwise unique buffs in once matches 'er happenin'- Certainly not something ya NEED to follow, but... I've heard there's some sort of FAD er somethin' going around recently with some wild buffs as the focus, so, y'all do seem to have been practicing with those... and, o'course, nothin's gonna permanently change with the character's core concept unless y'all vote for it, so... there's no reason not ta go all out, y'know?

And lastly, I've been lookin' around, and thought it might be nice ta just make a few things fer all the voters at home. Considerin' the lack of some sort of server of discord, at least, heheh. Last o' the E'ery Jam folks! This one seems ta be Wayne from that RadioTVSolutions- the guy with the faxes and some sorta fridge- but themed ta his annual "Fourth of Footwerk" streams. Just seems ta be the base concept though- at least, judgin' by him just bein' in some sorta secret service outfit.

Source-wise, fer the Jam folk we do get the flavor-pulling from their genres, which is mainly notable fer Footwork allowing ta pull Dancing n' stuff. I guess Future Garage can pull... Future stuff? And garages? I'm not too sure why that one's there, ta be honest. I guess they both are dance genres with a focus on samplin'?

In terms a buffs, plenty of options fer this guy. Base him off'a one of his existing Footwerk streams, or just dive inta his wide array of nonsense he streams. Y'know, when I was settin' up the matches this round, I really put this guy up against the mooshroom 'cause I thought that he'd stand a chance. I mean, a funny guy people know with some incredibly easy buffin' material? It'd HAVE to be a sho-in! ...But, eh, somehow the Goombuds match was closer? Not that I'm dissin' the buds, but maybe I'm just underestimatin' the power of that lemon demon fella.
