Our music brings the world of Famelot to life. Inside this world is the noble yet pathetic and paranoid Baron Skel; his manipulative and controlling clergyman Bishop Shnormo of Ville; and the peasant subject of all conceivable misery and personal recipient of the Baron's nervous and volatile wrath, Gralum Spewer. This depiction occurs via worlds of 70s fusion, odd-time math-metal, mad bossa nova and lowdown grunge, all underpinned by the Fam’s manic funky energy. With tight compositions allowing flourishes of personality, we don’t see our music as improvisatory jazz. Rather, it lies somewhere between the wild psychedelia of Hendrix, other-worldly grooviness of P-Funk and mind melting rhythmic geekiness of Meshuggah.
