First guest mix in 2025 sets high standards. Zee Mon, the Berlin-based German newcomer, blends EBM and New Beat-inspired music, incorporating heavy basslines and strong snares into his compositions. He transitions between mildly aggressive moods and more playful atmospheres, embellishing his productions with self-crafted vocal hints. Following his debut on Fucanglong Files and his latest releases on Crave Tapes, Distant Gaze, and Discoteca Negra, he also received remixes from artists such as Curses, Mufti, and Alen Skanner.

“The darker, the better”
Hailing from Grenoble (France) and active on various musical scenes those last four decades, TheTallMan started djing as a dilettante (and still is) in the early 90’s, delivering fierce sets blending New Beat, EBM and Electro-Industrial.
After a long hiatus went back behind the desks in the mid-2010’s offering his own interpretation of Indie Dance, mixbags of Dark Disco and Darksynth layered with cinematic (he’s a sucker for horror movies’ soundtracks) and psychedelic overtones, and a punkish approach to the mix: flaws are tolerated, abrupt transitions are more than welcome and perfection is nothing but an F-word.

Here you get motorik Dark Disco / Dark House combined with non-stop low frequency ambient soundscapes shrouding the mix in an uncanny muffled sonic atmosphere, imposing an unpleasant sensation of suffocation to the listener.

Ale, Kata e Zeemo formano il progetto nel 2020 e uniscono passioni e influenze scure, corporee, post-punk. 

Ci scrivono consegnando una fotografia immersiva e a tratti nostalgica, è un invito alla New Wave, alla EBM: stivali di pelle ben lucida.
Una storia di produzioni altrettanto ricca li vede comparire nella Ombra International di Curses, su Raibano Records, su Nothing Is Real Records, fissando una presenza decisamente Dark Wave e caratteristica. 

L'immaginario di un post-punk contemporaneo si traduce in una miscela nei tempi della musica da club. Abbiamo una suite squisitamente composta per il piacere della nostalgia (o della riscoperta!), che invita a cedere il proprio corpo verso una fusione con paesaggi scuri, post-industriali. Obbligatorio un esame di stile.
Loro stessi definiscono l'ambiente: “batterie solide, synth spaziali, linee di basso groovy e chitarre distorte e
graffianti”.

Tallac is a producer and DJ based in Berlin. He found his love for synth music at an early age, obsessing over the soundtracks of 80s sci-fi movies like The Running Man, Akira, Blade Runner, and Dune, before finding his way to proper dance music during his teens in the late 90s. Through his tracks, he tries to capture that formative love of all things analog and outer space into songs and sets that feel simultaneously lost in time and pushing beyond the infinite.

Born and raised in the United States, Tallac saw success with indie rock and bloghouse remixes throughout the early 2010s and played his eclectically-flavored sets at venues and warehouse parties in San Francisco, New York, and Burning Man, bringing the sounds of outer space to eager listeners hoping to find new homes in distant galaxies.

Focusing on an Italo and Space Disco sound, he’s seen singles and remixes released on AEON, Ritmo Fatale, and Sinchi Collective, and played sets at some of Berlin’s finest: Re:mise, Bulbul, and his recurring Italo Disco residency at Palabra Bar in Friedrichshain.

BIO
While learning classical piano as a teenager, Manichino @manichino discovered the first rave and techno sounds in the late 80s and early 90s. New Beat and Belgian techno instantly fascinated him.
Growing up, he enjoyed recording mixtapes and composing tracks secretly in his room, and abandoned the piano for synthesizers.

Later in 2022 he started playing as a DJ in small Parisian bars, and sharing some mixes and podcasts, driven by a need to share his musical influences by promoting these New Wave, New Beat, Techno, Italo and Electroclash movements that continue to exist and influence many artists today.

As a musician, he has been focusing on composing music for a few months now, with the deep desire to share his musical heritage. To be continued...
