Green Book is a folk-gospel journey through the lives whose names are written in the Book of Life, sung as though the redeemed themselves now stand beyond the veil—whole, healed, and joyfully remembering the moments where grace found them. Each track is rooted in Scripture, but the tone is never somber; even the stories of loss or hardship carry a lively confidence, because every soul in these songs already knows the ending: everlasting life, everlasting joy, and everlasting belonging.

The album opens with four acoustic guitars breathing through The Breath Before the Song, a quiet dawn that mirrors the first stirrings of creation. From there, the music moves through the wilderness, through storms stilled, second chances given, wells of mercy uncovered, eyes opened, chains shattered, and roads walked in the glow of revelation. Across the entire record, the sound evolves organically from late-60s folk revival warmth into bright late-70s folk-rock, mirroring the way each story unfolds from uncertainty into light.

Four instrumentals—The Breath Before the Song, When the Desert Bloomed, The Stillness Between Miracles, and Fields of the Everlasting Hills—serve as chapter breaks, reflecting quiet moments where heaven breathes between miracles. The remaining songs celebrate the transforming touch of Christ on ordinary lives: a woman restored at a well, a man lowered through a roof, a widow giving everything she had, a prodigal running home, and a leper returning in gratitude.

The finale, The Gates of the City of Light, brings the journey to its eternal horizon—piano-driven, humble, sunrise-like—welcoming the listener into the same everlasting day that shines through the whole album. Green Book is a celebration of life after life, hope after sorrow, and the unbroken road that leads every redeemed heart home.
