Requires a good deal of patience and good will to keep listening, I'm afraid. I could imagine, once one knows your stuff, it's a lot easier to hang in there!

Yes, not sure just how much you realize this, but you took a great risk to have this intro hang for so long in its state before showing what you've really got. I can't promise you that it will pay off, but in a setting where people don't know what to expect from an artist or a song, you kinda want to make sure you push some of the good stuff into the front very early!
