Long-time Avenue Red resident selector Rubsilent from Istanbul, Turkey makes his 9th contribution to our imprint in as many years to keep the momentum going strongly for the BIG 200! This ~100-minute-long mix is textbook Rubsilent, delving into his deep vinyl collection to pull out a wide spectrum of the finest house & techno selections, spanning from the inception of the genres to the present day. Keep notes - all DJ's can learn many things from this seasoned pro of the underground.

"Between a day job work schedule and adapting myself to parenthood in mid-40's, life no longer allows me to spend as much time as I want on the decks at home. As the priorities are straightened I struggle with finding the inspiration and motivation to record a mix to tell a story these days and if the mix wouldn't tell a story I see no point of sharing it with people for being connected. After about 6 months of not recording a mix other than a few local gigs here and there, exchanging some messages with Alec on social media got me inspired to put a session together. Here you may hear that selection of old and new tracks mixed in one go on my home set up. Over the past two years Telfort has become a flag-bearer for Edinburgh’s burgeoning house scene, turning 909 infatuations and influences from Chicago’s more soulful persona into phased out, dancefloor-ready club tracks. Grabbing our attentions in 2015 with his blistering self-released debut ‘In A Good Place’ Telfort has since become affiliated with Coastal Haze and Scottish label Lionoil Industries, home to FYI Chris and Hi & Saberhägen to name a few. 
 
In the short space of just two years Telfort’s homegrown imprint TLFT has grown into one of Scotland’s most prominent underground labels, its releases gaining adulation from the likes of Hunee, Move D, Moxie and Smallpeople to previous FM guests Axel Boman, Jane Fitz and Dan Beaumont. As a resident of Edinburgh’s dearly beloved clubbing mainstay Sneaky Pete’s, Telfort has finely tuned his talents behind the booth, all of which come to the forefront in the next instalment of the Field Maneuvers mix series. Glistening slo-mo house to crunching techno designed for optimum after-hours.

Telfort: Here's an extra large slice of deepness recorded on a Saturday during that freak Scottish heatwave recently. Looking out over the window over my decks there was a lovely view of a 28° beaut of a day so at points I was wondering what the fuck I was doing indoors recording a mix, but I was pretty determined and here's the result!"

DJ Jus-Ed reveals an adventurous, energetic and spiritual style of playing quality music from house to techno. He has been spinning records since 1981 and his exposure to a wide range of experiences has shaped his unique musical viewpoint.
Jus-Ed's underground smooth sets have captured and educated audiences all the way from his former home in Bridgeport Connecticut to Europe, Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is in the mainstream of all underground music and he has been quoted as one of the most prolific music producers in the scene for the past 15 years.

In 2001 Jus-Ed teamed up with DJ Vic Money (98.7 Kiss FM), to create the Underground Quality signature under which they began producing parties and helped re-grow the underground house community on the East Coast of America.
In 2004 this project turned into the now worldwide respected label of the same name – Underground Quality. Over a course of almost 15 years the world has now seen more than 65 UQ releases – all on vinyl, of course. Many of them produced by Jus-Ed himself, but the UQ family counts artists like DJ Qu, Jenifa Mayanja, Levon Vincent, Nina Kraviz, Aybee, Smallpeople, Steffi, Move D, Mr. G and many others.
