An Imaginarium Remixed is the a new nine-track compilation EP by Kratos Himself on Jus Like Music Records. After A Town Called Imaginarium (released in June this year on Jus like Music Records) and Imagination (released on Export), An Imaginarium Remixed is the final instalment in Kratos' three-part 'Imagination' series.

The new release contains five new tracks as well as four remixes of tracks from A Town Called Imaginarium. The remixes have been expertly crafted by Scrimshire (Wah Wah 45s), Blossom (Project:MOONCIRCLE / Export), Jesse Futerman (Jus Like Music Records) and Suplington (Cult Classic Records) - all applying their own unique musical angles on Kratos' ethereal, electronic and organic blend.

Just like the two EPs that came before, there are additional vocals by K.J.B. and Ditte de Muynck spread throughout this release.

Kratos Himself - An Imaginarium Remixed (Snippets)

Hidden Basement is a collection of unreleased tracks, b-sides and remixes. Some of it was at one point going to be another EP, but now all of the material has been gathered together to represent sounds both during and after Jesse Futerman's 'Basement' series of EPs for Jus Like Music Records. A very fitting, and sonically fulfilling conclusion to the series.

This release showcases a number of Jesse's different styles, including some more uptempo house-style tracks, while some of it will definitely resonate with those familiar with the three previous EPs.

In Jesse's own words, "Many of these tracks were made after my third EP (Exquisite Basement), around the time I started toying with house music more and more. Deebs helped me on one of the tracks (Lonely Soul), he had come over quite a few times to work on it and I was very happy with the result. Ryan (Hemsworth) enjoyed a beat I was working on called Santiago and requested the stems - the result is the remix on this release. I'd been a long-time fan of kidkanevil and I freaked out when he remixed my track (A Good Man Is Gone) - been listening to him for many years."

Following 'A Town Called Imaginarium' and 'Imaginarium Remixed', both released on Jus Like Music Records in 2013, Dutch producer Kratos Himself is back with Razor Leaves - a digitial single taken from his upcoming new EP, 'Dandelion Seeds'.

First aired on Rinse FM by Plastician earlier this year, Razor Leaves is a brooding, uplifting track that combines solid instrumentation with delicate electronic sound-craft.

The digital single also comes with two fantastic remixes; one from Walrii that brings Razor Leaves into a new direction with a schizophrenic time signature and an eerie undercurrent, plus another from ATLASt who throws up powerful drums and emotive energy in his take on the original.

Walrii is based in Bristol, UK by the way of Australia and is a burgeoning young producer who has previously released on Dub Temple Records and previously ran nights in Australia as part of the Dank Morass crew.

ATLASt was previously better known for his visual art, both in gallery form and also providing moving visuals for the likes of Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, Teebs and Low Leaf when they have toured Australia, but is now also gaining a lot of props for his remix work and original creations.

Following 'A Town Called Imaginarium' and 'Imaginarium Remixed', both released on Jus Like Music Records in 2013, Dutch producer Kratos Himself returns with a third EP for the label entitled Dandelion Seeds.

The six track EP includes the single 'Razor Leaves' which was premiered on Rinse FM by Plastician. Stylistically, Dandelion Seeds delicately balances electronic beats and samples with fine instrumentation to create intricate songs, far beyond the realms of a typical beat tape or electronic release. At times it can be brooding and pensive, and then seamlessly move up through the gears in a highly emotive fashion.

The Dutch producer explains that this is an EP which represents playfulness and growth, and with titles such as 'Bloom', 'Razor Leaves' and 'Forget Me Not' it's quite obvious flowers and nature are a theme here. The Dandelion represents Kratos' music, and as seeds, music can reach different places and start something new.

Kratos Himself, AKA Jethro Hopmans, is a young Dutch producer who has released music on Export Label and Project:Mooncircle, and has also worked with the likes of Deon Custom, Suplington and Jesse Futerman.
