The song from the show got stuck in my head again, and I remembered I made this chill cover a while back! Never could finish the thumbnail (It was going to be the Witcher on a horse and my as the bard), so instead here's an Old English font.

I'm finally putting a version of this song out here! I had the opportunity to play this live for my church during morning worship, so I was able to take this audio from their livestream. I know it's very different from what you've heard so far, but there's a good reason for that. I needed to make myself as uncomfortable as possible with the rap to break past that fear - that "Stage Fright." I'm proud of that song and how well it turned out, but I don't want rap to be my thing. It just isn't.

I do have one more rap planned for the future, but you can expect most of my music to sound like this, or like "Boss Fight Loading." I also have more live streams coming to the channel soon, but I can't promise when they'll happen. Also, now that I've got a clean recording of this song, you can expect a more "studio" quality version to be posted here and on YouTube later.

When Storms Arise (Live)

Hello! My name is Ethan, and I'm just a rookie artist, in most forms of the word. I love storytelling in every aspect, whether through writing, song, poetry, cinema, video game, or visual art. I spend most of my free time pursuing these things in any way I can. I listen to and write music, I have a synopsis and partial first draft of a novel I'm working on, I have a Google Docs folder filled to the brim with ideas for Marvel and DC movies and streaming series, I have a few video game ideas that I'm not nearly smart enough to code, and occasionally, if I get really lucky, something kinda resembling a picture might show up on my drawing tablet. Will anything ever come out of most of these ideas? absolutely not. Will a few of them finally get finished and released here and on my YouTube channel? Only the good ones.

Lastly, and most importantly, I'm a Christian. That means:
• I believe that there is one God that created everything, including us, and gave us free will.
• I believe that because of sin, we have been separated from God.
• I believe that God sent Jesus as the Messiah He promised to the Jews.
• I believe that Jesus was fully God, and fully man; that he was God living among us.
• I believe He lived a perfect, blameless life and died in the most painful way possible to take our punishment for us.
• I believe that Christ conquered death and raised back to life in a corporeal body, not as a spirit, before returning to heaven
• I believe that through His death and resurrection, if we choose to follow Christ, we can have a relationship with God and be with Him in Heaven after our bodies here on Earth die.
• I believe that we should love and forgive others just like Christ loved and forgave us.
• I believe that living for Christ will cost a lot. If the world killed Him, they won't be fond of His followers.
• I believe that if everything I've said above is true, I should be telling everyone about it. Why wouldn't I tell someone about their only hope of salvation?
• I believe that one day, no one knows when, Jesus will come again.

If some jerk on a street corner or some celebrity preaching prosperity has made a bad first impression, than allow me to apologize. That's not what Christianity looks like. If those people are Christians as they claim to be, they should spend more time in the Bible and compare their life to Christ's. However, if your issue with Christianity, like so many others, is that all Christians are hypocrites, than I want actually want to clarify a little.

Yes. literally every Christian is a hypocrite, myself included. No one, except for Jesus and only Jesus, could ever live a perfect life. Despite what you may have heard, Christians are no different than you. We mess up and fail all the time. None of us think that we're better than you. The difference between us is a choice. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. The very best that we have to offer is like filthy rags compared to Him. God looks past our mistakes and the choices in our past though and sees a person that He cares about. God sees His creation - a person He cared so much for that He was willing to take our place and suffer an uncomfortable life, an unbearable amount of scorn, torture, and humiliation, and the most painful death ever conceived by human minds. He sees that beautiful, beloved, unique creation beneath all that filth and offers you forgiveness, mercy, grace, and redemption. He made humanity with free will though. The choice is yours. You can live for yourself now and have fun while it lasts; or you can live for Christ, face the suffering that comes with that for a short while, and spend eternity after that in perfection.

That's Christianity.

It's not a set of rules to follow to the letter.
It's not a promise of fame, fortune, and prosperity.
It's not a tirade of hate, sin, and eternal damnation.

It's a relationship with Christ with the goal of becoming more like Him.
