Just Add Beats is an audio production camp and school program for kids in Houston, TX (http://www.justaddbeats.com). Participants create original audio works while competing in a series of audio design challenges. In the NASA Beat Challenge, we challenge the kids to create an original beat that incorporates samples from the publicly available NASA sound library (https://www.nasa.gov/connect/sounds/index.html). Kids reframe these sounds of science history with the latest virtual instruments and digital audio workstation software in a unique STEAM learning experience.
