Anwaar plays a sound routed in deep house. Taking hints of inspiration from house & garage, breaks and vocal sounds of 90s London. Groove and chunky baselines are a key component to track selection. Nonetheless, wondering between genres keeps a true sense of variety in his music. The founder of Cadre Movement, which started out doing parties around London at quirky venues, moving onto shows on Hoxton FM and Brownstock Festival weekend. It now continues life with a monthly slot of Aaja Music and as a podcast on Soundcloud.
