Rising a conscious awareness and capacity around nature through art 

Following a Pan Africanist Grass Roots Culture perspective regarding the future of the arts and culture in East Africa since Covid19 - Louis Rwamafa community arts director at JustaHub - decided to create a series of podcasts about nature and culture through interviews done with main cultural actors from Uganda facilitating artistic and cultural events or activities in natural settings. 

His first podcast is with Director of Bayimba Foundation Faisal Kiwewa who since 2018 has redesigned the artistic and community project of Bayimba around the island of Lunkulu on Lake Victoria in the district of Mukono in Uganda.

A discussion on the shores of the island that took place in August 2022 during the Bayimba Festival.  
After a presentation and introduction of the work Faisal achieves within Bayimba project on the island - Louis Rwamafa will focus on the issues around waste rose at the aftermath of Festivals and events in Uganda and question Faisal  on the benefits and challenges of events set in natural and wild environments for people from the city.
