Newport-based Junglist DJ audacious strain of Amen breaks and new school sounds are a reflection of the properties that has shaped who they are to the core.
Drawing influence from the pioneers of the scene such as DJ storm, Fabio and grooverider, Deekline, Euphonique, Aries, DJ hybrid and Benny page, BLONDY's sets are abundant with energy, laced with scintillating feel good music, and created with the dancefloor in mind. Whilst her sound pivots around sub genres and other bass music, BLONDY still sets out to create a degree of uniqueness to each and everyone of her mixes.
Diagnosed with Arthritis and Fibromyalgia during childhood, a condition that BLONDY once struggled to accept, it has now become centric to her career. Their alias serves as both a reminder with her past existing music life and her preexisting life with her hyperactive, bubbly and adrenaline-fulled approach to DJing living in perfect harmony with her equally high-octane set style.

Oxford-based producer Dysfunction makes their debut on Just Be with their track 'Freestyling'. Originating from Aberystwyth and drawing inspiration from across the drum and bass spectrum and beyond, the 22-year-old producer has already been making some headway in the scene, with past releases having gained support from artists such as Nickey Blackmarket, Aries, Logan D, and many more. Freestyling brings together the techiest elements of Neuro, jump up, and jungle; this is certainly not one to miss.

Annca (she/her) is a drum and bass DJ & Producer based in Hanover, Germany. Blending a tasteful combination of upfront new school tunes and more traditional jungle bangers in both her mixes and productions. 

She made her first appearance as a producer in collab with Moonaddict in 2022 with a bootleg remix of Britney Spears "Toxic" with us here at just Be. 

She is part of CLX crew based in Hanover, and "Elektronischer Dauerurlaub" who organises raves and DJ workshops aiming to a diverse scene with focus on participating more FLINTA+ people.

With this being our final track of 2023, we of course wanted to go out with a bang, and how better to do it than a 4x4/DnB track? Courtesy of Curse, one of our latest residents and assistant. 

Curse has gone from strength to strength over the last 2 years, representing us across venues in Bristol and making us overwhelmed with pride as their confidence grows. This track truly represents their journey and is bound to make headtops fly. 2024 is set to be a busy one for Curse, it’s only right to grab their debut release whilst it’s HOT

Curse - The Vast Ocean Of The Universe

Hailing from Sailisbury but now calling the hub of Drum and Bass, Bristol her home. Puzio has self released multiple tracks and has seen a release on Invicta Audio. Puzio is the first of many to come female producers to release on just be and she’s set the standards high. With her tasty jump up track entitled ‘OUTTA LINE’.   A big, bad synth with a catchy pattern, paired with some subby wobbles over clean and classic jump up drums really brings this track together. Puzios influences from the Low down deep roster show throughout the track, but perfectly displays her own style. Puzio is going to take the scene by storm, she’s one to watch out for!

- Jamurai has outdone herself with creating her own jungle twist on the contemporary reggae artist hempress sativa's track boom. When speaking to Jamurai about her inspiration for the track she said she could instantly hear the jungle beat underneath the track. This bootleg has added an extra flavour to the original track with the wobbly jungle beats and the classic jungle drums.
