First ever recording in a studio. Jake on the verse, me on the hook. Recorded in 2005, just for fun. Not entirely happy with my performance that day, I'd gladly do it over again to make my part sound better.

So Gone Challenge WIP 1.0

1. Tonight's efforts resulted in re-recording the base vocal track, wasn't happy with the first cut but it was useful as a guide, because quite frankly I drank far too much last night and after a full day's work today I came home and listened to it and had no recollection of what the fuck it was or how it goes.
2. Recorded a second base track to flesh the sound out. Levels are peaky at this stage but remember I'm nobody's producer or sound engineer right now and I ain't in no studio. This is laptop with Audacity and my Turtle Beach Xbox headset lol.
3. Recorded 2x harmony fill tracks in the same key.
4. I left the rest of the instrumental on just in case any MCs out there feel some inspiration and want to drop some bars on this. Hit me uppppp let's work yo.
5. Gotta shout out to my housemate "Flo" who isn't home right now but she left 2 bottles of red wine which helped the creative process immeasurably. Shot, Flo! ^_^

End result for tonight is we have a verse and a hook with 1 harmony.
Aim for the weekend is to maybe find another harmony to add on, but I'm feeling like without production skills I'm just going to overload the fucker with noise.
Also need another verse but lyrics are not coming to me tonight so fuck it. Deal with it next time. This will do for now.
