Mexico City-based producer and DJ Luca Ferrand brings his analog-driven, groove-rich style to UNLIMITED007 with Manglar, a two-track EP that explores duality through sound. Rooted in the same sonic core, the Sunrise and Sunset mixes drift in opposite directions—one uplifting, one introspective—each capturing a distinct emotional landscape. Known for blending House with elements of Funk, Afro, and Soul, Ferrand makes an excellent addition to the Limited White Label roster.

Rick Wade is one of Detroit and house music's most consistent performers. He is a master of crafting tools that never miss on the floor but also have the sort of character that means they endure across the ages and remain impervious to passing trends. Art Is The Place has his latest, and it opens with the angelic vocals of 'Level Up' over a whimsical groove, then 'Big Ha Blues' gets more deep and zoned out with pillowy pads and wet claps. 'Intrusive Emotions' has a more grinding low end but stays slow and is softened by jazz keys, then 'Bitter Sweet brings some dust and grit. Another faultless outing from Wade.

Since Good Vibrations Music doesn't release much on vinyl these days, the Bristol-based label's occasional compilation style EPs are a genuine must-check. McCabe naturally features prominently throughout. He begins by joining forces with Black Sonix to rework 'Rise' by the Matsiko World Orphan Choir's 'Rise', wrapping dreamy pads, twinkling piano improvisations and heady Rhodes solos around a tactile Latin house groove, before going solo and a rich and soulful rework of Missfly and David Bailey's 'Baby Don't Make Me Wait'. Over on side B, McCabe and Ellis Dee doff a cap to classic US garage on a wonderfully deep dub of 'Got It Bad', before Last Nubian steals the show with the soulful broken beat brilliance of 'Dance Together'.
