It’s only our 2nd release to date, but we’re already bringing you a release by a ‘mystery producer’.
 
Based out of Dallas, Texas, with little online presence, Club Cab has remained somewhat of an enigma. His civilian work prevents him from sharing his music publicly, and not least due to the fact that his tracks are provocative old school electro inspired madness.
 
But his secret persona should not fool anyone. His music sounds like it has been lifted from an old Databass Records or Dance Mania pressing. With pure raw energy aimed right at the dance floor, these 4 cuts are guaranteed to get those booties poppin'.
 
We’re pumped to have him on board as our second release artist, and if you know what's up, you'll be sure to keep an eye on him, too.

We are aware that independent music is at a place right now where one should only be considering starting a new label if there’s a real necessity and purpose – if a scene, sound or artists cannot grow without the label’s guidance or platform. This release pays homage to the tougher sounds of Chicago house and labels like Dance Mania, Underground Construction, and Cajual Records. It is our take on the definitive sound of what the Chicago originators call ‘ghetto house’.

With tracks by Cherriep, Turk Turkelton, Footclan, E91, and of course Garneau and Club Cab, this compilation sounds like it was lifted from a 90’s era Chicago mixtape."

Ten years ago, ‘We Are Your Friends’ reached our ears and pushed Justice to the front of the scene, a young French duo signed by Pedro Winter on the label he had just created: Ed Banger Records. The record that followed,✝, was an album of condensed jerky electro, of disco reminiscences and heavy metal energy, with unstoppable tunes like ‘D.A.N.C.E’, ‘Stress’ and ‘Phantom’, and its videos, allowed Justice to follow the 90’s French Touch and its filtered disco loop. 

Since the release of their debut album in 2007, Justice has been tirelessly touring the world by bus, road festival to festival and concerts all over throughout the planet. Since their first tour, the band developed a powerful stage design that they polished and magnified throughout the years and the gigs. The wall of vintage Marshall amps front of the stage, an imposing cross, impressive light shows, and the sound of Justice totally revisited for the live shows.
