SABO Live at WOMB Tokyo March 18th 2023

This is the recording of my 3 and 1/2 hour set at the legendary WOMB Nightclub in Tokyo Japan, for the 4 year Anniversary party of BUMP, hosted by Ken. 

This was an absolutely magical night, and I was blown away by Japan's kindness, hospitality, and energy. The sound, lighting, and production at WOMB was truly top notch. All the other DJs played killer sets, and the crowd was truly connected with the vibes all night. I'm so happy to release this set and share with you all. Cannot wait to come back and do it again. Arigato Ken, Dai, BUMP family, WOMB family, and all of Japan, you stole my heart!

The first time I came to Berlin was in 2019, after a not so great gig back in Toronto that challenged me on every level, personally and professionally. 
Mira is someone I admire since many years ago, and actually one of my very early inspirations… so I planned my trip around this same event, knowing I would find the colours I lost. 
That trip changed many things for me, and was definitely a pivotal point in my life. I found inspiration again, and in addition to that fell in love with Berlin.
Fast-forward to 2023, I finally made the move to this city, and had the honour of handing over the decks to her in this specially beautiful event. 
What a crazy ride it’s been ❤️
Deeply grateful for my dearest Mira for creating her magic and having me a part of it once again.
Thankful for all the moments I shared with so many amazing people and all the early morning cats that were there for my set.

It has been just over a month since I left Black Rock City for the 5th time, and this marks an annual turning point for me. Today is my birthday, and I have one last gift to give you this year my crazy Playa friends.  Today my thoughts shift from: wishing I could teleport back to all the amazing moments we shared together just one month ago, to focusing on the productive 11 months ahead, until we meet again in  the dust.  I hope this mix will allow you to breathe a deep relaxing exhale, grounding yourself back to "reality", and inspire the same thoughts of excitement in you, until we meet again - in Black Rock City.
