Plinkton: Pickaxe-Not-a-Medley

I was working on a weird game for GGJ, and then my team and I didn't know how to make that. We scrapped that and went for a Twine adventure, and this was gonna be some music that played at the end or toward the end, but then I couldn't figure out how to get sound into Twine 2, so this lives on Soundcloud.

This song was born as a synth idea, and then I made it fake-orchestra style (using some mellotron samples and soundfonts, hence the name) for the fantasy world of the Twine game. I have mixed feelings on that horn section.

It's Out There ("Mello-ncholy" Orchestra Version)

This is a song that Alix Samule, Charlie McCarron and I started together for Charlie's amazing podcast Composer Quest (heard in this episode http://www.charliemccarron.com/2016/11/tour-4-songwriting-new-england/). The song began as a melody dictated by Kryptos's 4th panel, transcribing the letters into notes to form a surprising little tune. I then took that and made it into the thing you're listening to now with some synths and woodblock sounds!

This is the main music from Rabbit Constructor Plus, a game I made with 3 very talented people at Purple Monkey Game Jam 9 (playable here: https://gamejolt.com/games/rabbitconstructorplus/342153). I wanted a song that was stressful, fun, and felt like piling random crap into a cat shadow. It also sounds a bit like "Powerhouse".
