The new @Blackasteroid EP “Flesh” brings the raw energy and 
experimental spirit that launched Black Asteroid 10 years ago. 

The second single, “Methane Rain” features vocals from legend- 
ary industrial band Front Line Assembly. 

The song also features a live bass, and marks a departure from 
the 4/4 techno of previous releases. This was intentional, as 
Bryan Black revisits his industrial rock roots on this EP. Black’s 
rst band, Haloblack, was heralded as one of the top 10 
industrial bands of the 90’s. In a moment when techno has left 
the underground and become an EDM parody of itself, Black 
has instead decided to experiment with live instruments, 
vocals and slower BPM’s.

Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, Dataintrång found his way into Electro 2020 after hearing a live set by legendary producer Luke Eargoggle  at a local club. Shortly thereafter, he started producing and has released several tracks finding his sound more and more. He also founded the Datainspektionen Records a Gothenburg based underground Electro label.

We are now launching the ‘Ran Rad Single Series’, which will function as a fast channel to deliver fresh music from upcoming young artists. We hope to get to know more young talents through this platform, and of course to also spread their  music to the basshead community.

The first single comes from Jakob aka DJ Yum Yum from Leipzig Germany. Besides cheap instant food and the world revolution, he  is mostly interested in fast, modern, ravey bass-sounds, which he produces in the studio and tries to bring to the people with his music friends in Leipzig. Having a background in jazz music, he tries to push complex yet physical music in his effort to evoke the radical roots of rave.
