Justin Grant is an alternative rock singer songwriter from Carbondale, Illinois. The 17-year-old self taught musician just released his first album: Square One. His music is a mix of groovy distorted alternative rock tracks and soft powerful indie folk ballads. His music blends the styles of Jack Johnson and Dominic Fike, who are two of his biggest inspirations. He began performing professionally at Southern Illinois restaurants and breweries in the summer of 2024. 
Justin’s album was created in close collaboration with his older brother Jackson, who studies Music Business at Belmont University. The brothers have worked closely together ever since Jackson bought Justin his first guitar from a yard sale when Justin was 15. In the summer of 2024 the brothers decided to hunker down in their bedroom recording studio to create Justin’s debut album. After months of work, the two took a trip to Nashville to finish the project and it was there that they were given the opportunity to record two songs at the historic Ocean Way Studios. This moment tied the album together and inspired Justin to want to move to Nashville after graduating high school so that he can continue to build his young career.
