Most DJ mixes are intended for a dance floor, exercise, driving... periods or activities in which we're vertical or on our feet. This one is intended for the times when we're horizontal... late nights and early mornings, sunrises and sunsets, post-parties and safaris.... you know, the times we're off our feet, and Horizontal.

I've really wanted to do something a little different for awhile now, and although it took me longer than I would have liked, this end result is something I'm proud of.  Starting at 90bpm & ending at around 122bpm, with a running time of just under 2 hours, this is far from instant gratification for the listener... but this one was done for more personal reasons. :) 


Summer Serenade

Born in the Motor City, bred in the deserts of New Mexico, and now residing in Northern California. Started DJing in late 1996, and began working on music in 1999.  

Cut my teeth as a DJ & Producer, primarily on 90's and early 00's prog (ala Hooj, Sasha & Digweed, GU, etc etc). I've put out some records, and some of those records were on mix cd's. I took a bunch of planes to play records in a bunch of states, and then in 2005 I walked away from it all for a few years. Eventually found my way back to DJing through house music, and the rest is history. 

These days, I primarily play/edit/write music in the House, Disco & Techno "triangle", and never have as much time as I'd like to work on things.
