Vincent , also known as "The Unfamous " started listening to hardcore music since his childhood . in 1995, he decided to create his own hardcore tracks with sounds and samples extracted from the famous Thunderdome compilations , eathquake or Mokum, he learned production on Fastracker II software , strongly inspired by Dutch compilations but also including some French as Hardcore Fever 1 and 2 and Hardcore III by Laurent HO. after that in 2001 , he began to touch the turntables to be a dj / producer full artist , trying to mix with shockwaves records vinyls, Baby boom or ruffbeat records.then he joined a group in northern France called DGX for 2 years under the name "Dj Executor" , he also wrote several unreleased Terror track,at this time under the name "Explicit French Terror". in 2003 , he left DGX and preferred to devote himself to an old project that was established in 1999 with his best friend , the " Imperium Bass" project in which he completely changes system of musical production using Ableton Live. in 2010 he created the label " Paris Hardcore Mafia " with friends and made ​​severals hits with " Imperium Bass " released an" Explicit French Terror E.P" , " Breathing Hell E.P" and tracks on " various artists EP " , always with his best friend and an exclusive output hardkryptic record under the name " PHM " for a remix of " Imperia - " Rock da mic ". in 2012 IB produced EP Featuring Dj with chrono "Life is a bitch EP " on the famous Label Megarave , which was a big success and an appearance on the Exode Records with 2 titles featuring " D- Ohmicyd" and "Dj s'Aphira" , a featuring "Dj TSX" out on" Partyraiser records ". in the middle of 2013, all projects musics are stopped and he decided to create his solo project named "The Unfamous " always with a style focused Dutch gabber original source with influences labels like Offensive records, neophyte records, mainstream and uptempo , in December the same year he was again seen as a dj / producer of Megarave and released his first solo EP on the same label "Fuck Your Life EP" , with 4 tracks , one with a French vocalist , reaching hardtunes top10 also makes an appearance in the DNA057 with a remix of " twisted fuck" of dj darkcontroller which also pushed in the top10 Hardtunes sales.

250 bpm One of my hobbies is searching for samples and sounds, but I never did it for such a high tempo. When I found a few acapella’s I started to stretch them on the right tempo and added a stomping kickdrum plus some smooth percussion ;). One thing led to another and before I knew the track was filled with vocals. At some point I’ve decided to use a 808 kickdrum and a distorted hiphopbeat. Why? Don’t know, I tought it sounded cool and still think that. So when the hiphop element took over and the amount of vocals was at it’s peak, I instantly tought that it was a stealin yo shit concept. So high tempo beats with high tempo vocals, good team. Please don’t listen to this track on a system with no bass, listen it on a system WITH BASS

220 bpm. For this track I went back to the basics. Hollow kicks, noises and the basic arrangement was made in 1 day. The mixdown was the problem. It took ages and more then 10 mixdowns and still not happy. I want to deliver the highest quality I can get, so I asked Kevin Counterfeit to help me out. He analysed the sound of the track and said “there is your problem” and damn he was right. Fixed it and now im happy with the result. Extra detail…in that 1 day I was taking a break and grandma was watching a movie, so while drinking a coffee I heard the vocal sample. So the title Vicious was already there and the sub title came later. And to all the haters…..scream all you want, it ain’t gonna work xD

210 bpm After hearing many uptempo hardcore & frenchcore tracks I was surprised how it all was based on just kicks. I’m also guilty of doin that, no doubt, but I was missing the funk. Just some simple snare and hats that makes you bounce in a different way. So the vibe was not about the hard kickdrums, but making it funky. Found an oldschool acapella and started to mess around. It reminded me of the vibe like “I can’t be dissed” or “Stiff groove”. Since my focus was on delivering a different styled ep, I was feeling free to make it sound how I wanted it to sound. The first response with friends was diverse, some liked it, some didn’t. And the end of the day, I have to like it and if someone else does…bonus. This was a track that I needed to get out of my system and I hope that some people will enjoy it. Mastering done by Counterfeit.
