there have been so many well thought out edits released in recent years, i figured i'd create a mix that highlighted some of my favorites.  many of these original tunes flew under the radar upon their initial release.  others will be immediately recognizable, even to the layman.  i think this mix is a great starting point for people with a discerning ear who may be new to electronic music.  i tried to program it in a way that will leave you wanting more.  in fact, the OL tag line may as well be reversed to "from the couch to the dancefloor" for this one.  that makes more sense to me, as clever rearrangement is the very spirit of this mix.  hopefully these hedonic sounds keep you warm during the winter months.  enjoy.

the last mix we posted on this page (time & edit wait for no man) was created in an effort to introduce edm to neophytes.  this mix, however, will appeal to the informed listener.  driven by menacing basslines and sinister vocals, this is a two hour trip into the deeper side of house.  the vast majority of the tracks on this mix were played at our recent gigs at bb kings & the best buy theatre in new york city.  bethany kicks it off and we tag teamed the entire time, each throwing on two records before handing it off to the other.  sit back, relax, and let your system crank.  this one is for the grown folks.
