A Kindred Spirit

Commissioned in the Fall of 2016 and premiered in May of 2017, this piece was composed to honor the legacy of Dr. Linda King. It was written for the Chorus and Orchestras of Westfield High School. Set to the text of the Traditional Irish Poem: 
"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand."

Until We Meet Again

A Sonata for Violin and Piano that I composed at the end of 2017. The second movement is dedicated to the loving memory of my Mother who passed away in 2016. I put her name, "D-E-B" in the melody of the B theme. Pianist: Thomas Nickell. Violinist: Youngmi Hwang. Recorded 4/27/18.
