There is a unique touch to be in the field, giving and getting live fire. You can feel your adrenaline levels blast through the roof as you get into the middle of the fire fight against the enemy. Your brothers-in-arms rush down the steep desert hills to the nearby trench while allied bombers flash through the sky above your head. Machine guns sweep the dirt right before your nose as your body drops to the ground, jumping a well placed grenade. You quickly stand up and run forward with your comrades. Mines explode to your left, snipers prey on you from the right, but there is no time to think. Every moment counts. Every small movement can mean either death or progress. You rely on your instincts. With fire blazing in your footsteps you all continue to move forward and attack. A bomb goes off among the hillside and pours rock rain on your squad. You quickly reach out and grab the hand of your brother and forcefully pull him away from an exploding grenade. You can smell the gunpowder from the bullets flashing before your eyes. Your heart beats at full speed. But you don’t care. You all push forward. Forward to glory.

It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And after all those years it’s here again. Cold, hard steel, programmed for one single task: to kill. It walks through people. It walks through walls. It is driven by that one command: TERMINATE. It systematically tracks you down, wherever you are. Even among millions of people it will eventually find you. You can run as long as you want, in the end you will see you two standing face to face in a dark alleyway in the pouring night rain. And this time, there will be no escape.

A tactical operation takes place in a heavily guarded military base in the mountains of the surrounding area of Kruglovoyat. Two special SEAL soldiers advance their way into the depths of the complex to retrieve vital data on cybernetic experiments and firearms research being conducted in the base. Sneaking from corner to corner in the dim corridors, rays of bright searchlights sweep the windows from the courtyard outside, revealing their shadows slowly gliding on the dusty walls. Avoiding patrol units and security cameras, crawling in silence on the floors, they prowl their way into the main computer hub. Before they could hack themselves into the system, footsteps are approaching. Dead silence takes over the dark computer room as their suspend their breaths to avoid detection. When the last patrol gets to a safe distance they hook up the cables and the circuit breakers to the mainframe, then quickly recover the data to a holodisk. In a few minutes they remove all evidence of their visit and slip out through the central vent system. Trucks loaded with ammunition idle on the courtyard while they leave the perimeter fence. The military base staff continues its normal routine without the slightest idea of what just happened.

The few and the proud. They are here to protect you. To protect us. To protect Earth. A pack of jolly great fellows, ready to give their lives to save what they’ve sworn up to. When a threat arises, they are ready to go on command. Whatever the odds are, they keep moving forward. They know they might not come back. Still, they are keeping up a smile while shooting those accelerator rifles. They hunger for adventure, for challenge, for the joy of fighting for anything that worths fighting for. Their fingers stand ready on the trigger, waiting for the moment. Waiting for life to give them something to shoot. 

On a cold winter morning, the alarm sounds. Alien invaders sighted on the base perimeter. They all gear up and go on duty.

March 21st 1986. Forcefield, the biggest gaming arcade in Sunset Valley, CA is buzzing with people on a Friday night. The brand new shooter cabinet, “Maniac Mission” is a huge hit among the youth. Coins and tokens clink, machines are beeping, people chattering. 

At 09:51 PM a distressed phone call arrives to the local police station, reporting a mass shooting in Forcefield arcade. Armed police forces quickly arrive to the scene to witness the absolute mayhem caused by a group of four gunmen. Gunshots echo inside the building, while screaming guests flee down Hope street to escape the terror. The dispatched SWAT team ambushes the premises, engaging the gang face to face. Sounds of pumping shotguns, dropping magazines, ricocheting bullets and bleeping video game cabinets mix with the desperate screams of victims. This violent night will go down never to be forgotten.
