This is SO MUCH FUN!   I can see why it was maybe rejected by Mute. That "Pump Up the Volume" sample is reminiscent of a service remix (One, H** Tr@cks, comes to mind). They had a pencahant for using recognizable samples around this time.

Sir Strauss, i had no idea you remixed one of my favorite Erasure songs of all time.  Was able to manage to get the promo CD single of Erasure's A Little Respect with your mix on it.  Love the "Let's Go" sample and the bassline, wonderful piano elements with a hint of acid.  I just don't understand why this was not released because in my opinion it's clearly a much better version than that of Mark Sauders.  Always thought the commercial release of Stop (through Crackers International EP) was lacking spark!!!

Sir Strauss, just wanted you to know we appreciate your music.  A have a friend in Singapore named Terry and he is a huge collector of your mixes as well.

Sir, please don't forget for your consideration  Basia's Promises.  We kept contacting the sole owner of the US promo cd single on www.discogs.com but he kept ignoring us.  Perhaps does not like to share his collection.  Also, Shona Laing's Soviet Snow which was only available on vinyl.  I'm sorry if i'm asking too much.  i apologize....Thanks for your time.

What a treat. Not sure how I bumped into this, but long time Erasure fans will melt for this.
