Klasse Wrecks & Kid Who launch .NFO, a series of records showcasing previously unreleased house, techno, acid and more from the 90s Amiga Demoscene.

Created using early sample sequencers such as ProTracker, these tracks radiate the authentic energy of techno’s golden era - and they’ve been hiding in plain sight in Demoscene web repositories for many years. It was during the long days of the 2020 lockdowns that Kid Who began to explore these archives, sifting through thousands of tracks to eventually amass a collection of several hundred of his favourites. Curated by Klasse Wrecks and Kid Who in close collaboration with the talented artists behind them, the .NFO project aims to bring some of these finds to the broader dance music community via a series of VA 12”s and mixes.

Next up as part of the Local Selection series is talented producer and DJ, Olympias. Her live and DJ sets are inspired by dub, deep house and techno, creating a warm and hypnotic sound which can be heard throughout this mix. 

Having grown up in Dublin, Olympias was drawn to the nightclub scene and began to learn about DJing at after-parties. She began playing piano from the age of 6, which saw her first foray into gigging playing piano bars in Dublin. 

Her skills behind the decks brought her to perform in clubs such as Radion and Sugarfactory in Amsterdam as well as shows in Hong Kong, Thailand, Germany, Italy, Spain and the US. She had a residency in Dublin with Division at Pygmalion and her radio show on InsomniaFM aired to thousands of listeners, earning her a spot after Chris Liebing’s AM/FM podcast.

In recent years, she decided to focus more on music production, taking on a course with Elevator Program, and releasing her first EP 'Black Bird' with their label. She kept her training going and started 1-1 sessions with producer, Subb-An, and mixing tips from Dope Choppa. Her hypnotic style is influenced by dance music from the late 2000s, where her live sets are inspired by chill-out, dub, deep house, minimal, techno, and a bit of blues, creating a warm and hypnotic sound. 

This is the perfect midweek musical mood enhancer. Catch her play this Friday in the Pawn Shop.

@agua_fk's love for electronic music first sparked when he started to work at the bar of a Techno club in his hometown Nuremberg. This was the birth of his huge enthusiasm for collecting records, and he's been crafting his unique sound ever since. Over the past few years, you could find him playing at various clubs in Berlin, other cities in Germany and Switzerland and on streaming platforms like HÖR and Pattern Berlin. In this set, expect tech house with an acid touch, electro sounds and obscure 90s house tunes with catchy vocals. Please enjoy!
