Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @dimi-angelis for the 125th installment of Amplify Series.

The mix is a live recording played at one of Dimi's Illegal Parties back in the day. It was recorded on the 18th of August 2002 and is part of a 5 hour set, vinyl only.

Thinking of Dimi Angelis, we quickly associate his name with pounding sounds, high-quality releases, and an iconic trajectory. Staying true to his sound, Dimi has evolved over the years into one of the most renowned producers and DJs worldwide.

Looking back to the nineties, Dimi has been one of the key figures shaping the Dutch techno scene as we know it today. His career has been marked by releases on top-tier labels such as Axis Records, Warm Up Recordings, Mord, KEY Vinyl, Tar Hallow, and the co-owned label A&S with Jeroen Search. This has led him to perform at major techno institutions such as Berghain, Awakenings, Dekmantel, and Tresor.

Another product of Dimi’s creativity is his solo label, ANGLS, which delivers raw and uncompromising techno. In recent years, Dimi has been a regular presence across different continents, frequently performing in Latin America, Asia, and the USA.

Inigo Kennedy is a pioneering and respected techno and electronic music producer and DJ who is well known for the creativity, originality and technical skill he brings to his work. Since releasing his first track 25 years ago, owner of innovative and genre-defying label Asymmetric, Kennedy consistently pushes the boundaries of the electronic music realm. About Tresor Berlin
At midnight, on March 13th 1991, a basement door opened at Leipziger Strasse 126, Berlin. Through this door, many passed, on their way to defining new terrains in electronic music. There they found a dance floor in the vaults of a closed-down department store, with a unique sound bound to dense fog, building night after night a history that was also a vision of the future.

This history has seen in Jeff Mills’ first sets on three turntables, Underground Resistance's first live appearances in Europe, grandiose Tresor Park parties, to various chapters of the Loveparade with Sven Väth in the 90s and since then countless generation-spanning parties. These moments represent the highlights of infinite personal clubbing experiences. It is the manifestation of the Berlin spirit, emerging from its considerable strife. This history is not without its complications - from temporary closure by the authorities and several raids in the early years to closure and demolition of the old location in 2005. What followed was years of wandering in exile and, finally, resurrection in the new home in Kraftwerk Berlin.

These stories, conversations and shared experiences within our walls forge a resilience that drives towards a shared ideal, the Tresor sound: community, resistance, and the world to come. This was observed in the newly re-unified German youth, who danced and celebrated together from the club’s inception, and into the present day through ongoing community work in Detroit.

To those that have danced before, and to those that will dance in the future: the light at the end of the long Tresor tunnel is a signal. A flicker amidst the fog. This is our future. This is our place.

Championing a sound both entrancingly serene and deep-diving, Blazej Malinowski joins us for a two-hour journey across dubbed-out psychedelic folds and straightforward cinematic crescendos he holds the secret to. Through a string of hypnotic releases for the likes of Semantica, The Gods Planet, Kvalia and his own imprint, Inner Tension, the Polish DJ and producer has been minting a sound signature both impeccably fuel-efficient and immersive to the full. Seeking the meditative thrill of sensory entanglement through contrasting dynamic forces and melodic chiaroscuros, Malinowski treats us to a rivetingly evocative outpour of shape-shifting techno epics and sunken, reverb-drenched atmospherics spiraling in and out of focus. TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ MARCO ASOLEDA

Originally from the southwest of France, Marco has been honing his craft for over 27 years. Immersed in the French and Spanish rave culture since 1995, his music naturally became its reflection. As a techno DJ and producer, he has released more than sixty EPs and remixes on labels such as Labrynth, Illegal Alien, Elektrax, Coincidence, The Zone, and of course Amazone, some of which have received support from iconic artists such as Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Speedy J, and Dave Clarke.
In 2004, he founded Amazone Records, which—21 years later—has established itself as a leading French label, featuring some of the most talented artists on the international scene: Perc (UK), Charlotte de Witte (BE), Marco Bruno (IT), Submerge (USA), Electric Rescue (FR), Mark Williams (UK), Audio Injection (USA), Tom Hades (BE), David Carretta, and many more.
Alongside his solo projects, he has also collaborated on an electro-techno live act with Parisian singer Drey. Their first release in 2008 received support and collaboration from pioneers David Carretta and Millimetric, and was highlighted by media such as Trax Magazine. 
His acclaimed performances have taken him across France, as well as to Spain, Mexico, Switzerland, Poland, and Italy. A passionate actor and defender of electronic culture, Marco stands as part of a generation of truly committed artists.
