This album is so personal. In this album you walk through my life journey. With that being the reality, I wanted to be one hundred percent authentic and real with where I have been, especially in the last two years of my life. I have experienced the lowest of lows of I ever have in my life, but also the highest of highs. Injures and massive depression and anxiety created the darkest experiences of my life, but they were also the places that changed my life for the better, that God was able to show me his true heart and to change my life. Many artists, believers, and religious influences tend to forget or ignore the struggles to been seen as a better person, due to fallacies that have infected the Christian religion such as the prosperity gospel’s thought of when you are good you’re doing good things and when you’re bad you are doing bad things.  I got caught in this fallacy and when I found and had my testimony in my darkest moments have since felt called to change this narrative by embracing the struggles and hardship and telling people it is okay to be struggling and to have scars. This album’s biggest mission is to show that God is not only just present in all of the parts of your life but God wants to grow you, love you, and meet you where you are in all of the seasons. I always say that there are two things that humans have in common one being that we are broken, scared, and sinners, and the other being that we are loved by God, so I hope that this project projects those two in perfect harmony and showing how though I am broken God is still going to use me to create a better world and a brighter future.
