Justin Catanzaro is a Californian singer, player, and songwriter hell-bent on turning the darkness in his mind into beauty, pain into joy, and consuming emptiness into a deep sense of belonging and love through his music. He draws inspiration from many genres, such as blues, folk, punk, and soul to create a sound reminiscent of the past and indicative of the future. Justin began writing in earnest after a messy breakup in the summer of 2011 and has continued nonstop since.  He’s been inspired by the likes of R.L. Burnside, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, and Otis Redding, to mention a few.  Over the years he’s performed well over 100 times; from house shows to hootenannies, bar stages to street corners, and fully intends to continue till the grave. Though blessed with a full life, Justin’s true passion lies in music and the joyful, compassionate way it communicates to all aspects of existence, and lives accordingly so that wherever he is, and whatever he does he will always be able to play for someone.
