I Once Fell In Love

I am currently recording a record of my all time favorite cover songs. This is an unfinished sample track for your listening pleasure. Heads up, this album is dark, and is probably the most structured/themed cover album you will ever hear. Although I recorded this song, I do not own the rights to the song in and of itself.

*Note, I changed the chorus from the standard 3/4 time signature the verses are in, to a 4/4. Sorry Anthony Kiedis.

This is one of those songs that took me about three days to write, and three hours to record. I'm testing the waters with a new microphone and midi-controller, so what you are hearing is extremely raw. Go figure. This song will be featured on an album expected to release towards the end of June.

Peculiar, The Way

I sort of lost track, but I'm pretty sure this is four or five complete albums by This Colony Is Sleeping In played on top of each other, with some of my favorite songs and bits and pieces from other albums. This took approximately ten hours to put together, but the majority of that time was spent playing the albums in my home. Buried deep within these layers, you may hear faint sounds from my everyday life, such as air conditioners kicking on, toilets flushing, washers, driers, food simmering on the stove, babies crying and music playing. Whether you hate this or love it, you should do yourself a favor and listen to some of TCISI's albums one at a time. <3
