Badphaze and HizzleGuy’s ‘Murder Time’ EP sheds light on the prominent bass style coming out of the UK. With creeping tempos and deafening basslines, ‘Murder Time’ successfully delivers two of Fresh Blood’s biggest songs of the year. “Game Over” opens the EP with snarling synths and high hats, slowly kicking things into gear with booming percussion samples. Twisting into mayhem at the bass drop, “Game Over” is a smooth blend of deep old-school dubs and modern bass music. Making his Fresh Blood debut with this exceptionally notable collaboration, HizzleGuy lets his technical talents shine in ‘Murder Time’ with fellow UK-based producer Badphaze on Tuesday, June 19th.
