Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

They dressed on the beach and climbed up the steep trail with David carrying the bag with the beach things to where the old car was waiting in the pine woods. They got in and David drove back to the hotel in the early evening light. Catherine was quite in the car and to anyone passing them they might have been returning from any afternoon at one of the unfrequented beaches of the Esterel. The war ships were no longer in sight when they left the car on the driveway, and the sea beyond the pines was blue and calm. The evening was as beautiful and clear as the morning had been. Olendo escape from the labyrinth of thoughts and takes a trip to the valleys of forever. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These tracks are warm and elegant without any fear. Rameff, The Oddness and Sydney Seymour paint the skies in the early evening light.

Ecstatic Dance Haifa, Israel @ live set 13/8/24

An ecstatic dance intended to get people into their animal instincts...following urges and impulses...unlearning socially conditioned suppression of emotions and of the body. There was a slow build, with African rhythms and deep bass, to generate power in the body, and then some fun and lightness...and then we went really deep. The lyrics of "Feel The Rhythm" reminded everyone that we, ourselves, ARE the rhythm and we respond to rhythm just as our ancestors did. We had a magical evening - the biggest Ecstatic Dance Cobourg event ever! I feel so blessed.

Λrilu's words :
"One of the messages is that were looking for our other half in this world of dualities. Humanity was once one. But the truth is, that we are one we just forgotten to open our hearts for each other and ourself, to be completely aware of it. Our souls are connected through eternity, but disconnected through a lack of forgiveness to all living things on this world. So the second message is: Open your heart, more and more. And love yourself and all other living beings, even the ones you cant love. Try it. Try to see the light in the darkness and appreceate both.

The hangdrum, some voices, the koshi and some samples are own recordings, and thank you artists for some other samples i used here. There is no released track, even no seperated track, its a whole built arrangement. Its kind of a story - and everyone will understand this in another way.
