As beautiful as the human desire for eternal love. My heart is full, your cup is empty. Heads turning, eyes yearning as you move towards the door. Panic suddenly becomes the flavor of the month and in an attempt to open the door for you, I almost knock you over. 

"Oh, I am so sorry."
"Oh that's an unusual name. If you are So Sorry then I am Happy Go-Lucky."

Now I know this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
We both step outside, you smile and point to a red scooter that is parked a cross the street.

"Do you have any plans Mr. Sorry? That red scooter can take you to the Plage Pampelonne in no time." 
"No plans and no reason to be Sorry anymore. My real name is Erik." 
"Enchanté, Erik. My name is Faith." 

We shake hands and there is a moment of silence… I love silence… Silence is golden if you share it with someone. 

You start the engine and when I put my arms around you, I feel life embrace me. 

La Plage Pampelonne is wonderful and the rest of the day is filled to overflow with feelings that cannot be described in words. No need to know why you decide to be my everything. All that I know, is that I got to have Faith.

Jerry Bouthier’s label Continental records welcomes Mexico’s Bluehost to its continuously expanding international roster. Building a body of releases where love for songs with character and dancefloor principles cohabit on dj-friendly EPs crafted by authentic artists, the colorful, pop-tinged digital imprint springs back into action with ‘We Need You’ by Bluehost, a trio hailing from Mexico City which aims at combining indie moods and club vibes in one personal inspired Latin spell.

When DJ Alex González was introduced to Azzim Susano who was singing in a new-wave band at the time, the two 24 year olds into synth-pop and European sounds hit it off immediately and decided to form Bluehost. Cruz Antonio on drums soon completed the line-up. The band's name stems from its wish to combine the melancholy of Blue Monday, the third Monday of January believed to be the most depressing day of the year (almost certainly also a nod at New Order's electrodisco classic), to their love of hosting parties and making people dance.

With a funky rhythm guitar that would make Nile proud, quirky synths a-gogo, electro beats to almost breakdance to and a male vocal that’s as infectious as heartfelt to top the lot, ‘We Need You’ strikes a chord. These boys sure cultivate a sentiment of their own, injecting warm, impassioned, Hispanic touch and cool dance moves to their beloved indie-pop.

In the remix seat Pallace, the Frenchie who’s co-produced Zimmer's lately, opts for a driving house makeover, stripping down vocals and unleashing some proper feelgood Hammond chords and one of the catchiest SH101 basslines you’ll hear this summer. Next Sweden's Copycat, the analog lord renowned for revamping the 80s with style and skilled production techniques, turns out a piano-led balearic anthem that’ll have you throw your hands in the air before you know it. To conclude the EP, Bluehost provide their own dub remix which takes ‘We Need You’ one step closer to Manchester’s Haçienda and its italo-house heaven.

DJ and producer Justin Faust has been a well-known part of the international dance music scene for more than ten years. Based in Munich, but closely associated with the Portuguese DISCOTEXAS label (Moullinex, Xinobi and others) and New York’s legendary Nervous Records, his style is as diverse as the people he works with, having releases and remixes show influences from Nu Disco, House, Funk and beyond. Apart from numerous original releases like his 2014 album “Spellbound”, he has crafted many popular remixes for the likes of Childish Gambino, Treasure Fingers, Goldroom, Moullinex or The Knocks, not to be outdone by classic earlier reworks of Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk, Ariana Grande and Janet. What followed were extensive DJ gigs and tours as headliner, playing at parties across Europe, the US, South America and Asia as well as appearances on Annie Mac's BBC1 radio show, a feature in the critically acclaimed TV show "The Leftovers" and collaborations with legends like Mats Bjorklund, who has recorded with Boney M. and Giorgio Moroder.

I am an original 80s new waver in search of today's music influenced by that era.
