Gomma comes back with heavy DJ material: A 3 track Disco House EP by OkiDoki - including a great remix by Xinobi from Discotexas. OkiDoki is the new cross continental brainchild of producers Jesse Rogg (Banks, Sam Sparro, etc) and Rob Rox (Lupe Fiasco, Paper Diamond, etc). Fusing together 80ies boogie, funk house and a bit of italodisco. This project was formed to let out their inner child, letting it play in the grass, frolic in the sea and twirl in the night. With vocal stylings by US songstress Gavin Turek and english lyricist Jont, the tracks are primed for the more funky house clubs, the nasty beaches and the independent radio waves alike.

As the skies clear and things start to warm up, Titeknots - once again - hits the release schedules with a dose of gentle beauty to lift dance floors, pool parties and living room slouch sessions with his 3-track 'More Delicate' collection.

Having spent the past year picking up co-writing and producing credits for Equals (soul / r&b) and Izo Fitzroy (soul / funk), not to mention remixing Ephemerals, DJ Kormac and Soothsayers, it’s time to concentrate once more on solo Titeknots creations.

DJs across the spectrum have shown love to Titeknots – from Monki, Gilles Peterson, Benji B and Phil Taggart on the radio, to club stalwarts like Bonobo, Bondax, Dimitri From Paris and Tom Trago. These productions connect to people whether they are listening on headphones at home or pushing through big club crowds at peak time.

'More Delicate' is the collection’s lead track and sets the tone throughout. Layered, rhythmic melodies dance around a rolling bass and drum combo that builds to a crescendo with elegant intensity.

'Time Mending Time Again' follows, dropping the tempo in a nod to the sampler-based Soul tracks of Titeknots’ youth. A bold horn riff drives the track along, sitting on top of the kind of breakbeat that joins the dots between throwback Hip Hop and House.

'Hopping Greens' ties up the release. A wide open Summer celebration, the multiple hooks and lush layers hark back to classic disco arrangements, pushing beyond the standard 2-chord building blocks of much modern club music.

DJ and producer Justin Faust has been a well-known part of the international dance music scene for more than ten years. Based in Munich, but closely associated with the Portuguese DISCOTEXAS label (Moullinex, Xinobi and others) and New York’s legendary Nervous Records, his style is as diverse as the people he works with, having releases and remixes show influences from Nu Disco, House, Funk and beyond. Apart from numerous original releases like his 2014 album “Spellbound”, he has crafted many popular remixes for the likes of Childish Gambino, Treasure Fingers, Goldroom, Moullinex or The Knocks, not to be outdone by classic earlier reworks of Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk, Ariana Grande and Janet. What followed were extensive DJ gigs and tours as headliner, playing at parties across Europe, the US, South America and Asia as well as appearances on Annie Mac's BBC1 radio show, a feature in the critically acclaimed TV show "The Leftovers" and collaborations with legends like Mats Bjorklund, who has recorded with Boney M. and Giorgio Moroder.
