Straight out of Stockholm, Night Vision is proud to serve up Theo Erikkson's debut EP, "Mr Herrn". Unknown to the world at large (and still to us), Theo is a newbie that has nailed his first EP it in a way many up-and-comers wish they could. All three tracks are dusty, quick to the point groovers that we couldn't help but love. What they lack in length, they more than make up for in feel. Ranging from the approachable to the straight up weird, this is one for the birds and the bees.

It seemed only fitting to ask fellow Swede, Crackazat, to hop on the remix. Armed with the very flowery stems of Mr Herrn, the man came through with a that keeps the sensual feelings of the original and, with a twist, turns it into a dance floor smasher.

Manchester star Oli Furness will soon be leaving his mark on Hot Creations sister label Emerald City with the irresistibly groovy ​Wanna Lie Down, featuring Chicago’s own Parris Mitchell on the ​remix. 

Oli’s output is characterized by dynamic range and rhythmic groove, and Wanna​ Lie Down is no exception. Raw, chugging beats, distinct vocals and subtle percussions create an undeniable swing that make you move. ​Oli Furness explains​ “the​ thing I like most about this track is when I hear it out, I’ve noticed it kinda washes a carefree vibe over the listeners, which is always a joy to see.” 

Oli’s ability to veer between genres with ease and style is reflected in the depth of his releases on labels like Hot Creations, VIVa Music, Nervous, Morris Audio, Skylax and his own labels Music Is Love and MIL. Upcoming projects are planned on the infamous Clone records, whilst receiving support from artists such as Ricardo Villalobos and Laurent Garnier through to modern artists like Patrick Topping and DJ Haus. 

Parris Mitchell helped to define the infamous Dance Mania imprint in Chicago, releasing exclusively on the label from 1994-1997. Learning his trade through heroes like Ron Hardy, he also recorded as Victor Romeo and Rhythm II Rhythm. Having released on the Berlin based Deep Moves, this next remix on Emerald City takes on delectable tribal tones with prominent hi-hats and bright musical keys.

Forgot is a new record label based in South London.
Our first release, Forgot 001, is a four-track compilation set for release on 18 August 2017.

The EP spans many genres and draws influence from house, disco, hip-hop, jazz, funk and soul. The array of sounds and variety of production styles blend effectively and, whilst each track is unique in its own right, the compilation as a whole truly represents a sound we hope to promote.
Forgot resident Hoffy opens the EP with  Makei Klap ; a mid-tempo, jazz infused cut with an infectious piano loop and shuffling kicks. Brownswood Recordings affiliate Ratomagoson takes the tempo down with  Diesel Pump , a bass heavy, hip-hop oriented track, cleverly flipping a well-known vocal sample to great effect. The B-side introduces a deeper element;  David’s Vocal  from second Forgot resident Joe S fuses fizzy low-end synths, heavy hitting kick drums and loose, wandering melodies. The final track,  It Just Makes , is the heaviest offering from the release. Pila combines an effective, rolling bass line, creative hi-hat patterns and a cleverly chosen vocal sample.
Forgot is a collective made up of Jack Blythman, Jamie Cooling, Joe Cooling, Henry Hoffman, Joe Martin and Tomas Smare.
