With infectious basslines, hypnotic drum patterns, and repetitive, groovy hooks archetypal of the
genre, English electronic producer Justin Lawson is bringing Tech House back into the limelight.
Drawing inspiration from techno icons like Carl Cox and Claude VonStroke, the Murston native
has been releasing his own brand of deep, loop-heavy music since 2014.
In that time Lawson has put out new tracks consistently, one of which is the April 2019
release “Beat Back”, released on Big Mama’s House records. With hooky vocal samples and a
ceaseless, driving bass synth, the song quickly became the artist’s most popular single to date.
With momentum on his side, Lawson started his own label - Murston Records - and released the
three-track EP “Mr Officer”, expanding on the sample-based vibes of his previous work.
Now, Justin Lawson wants to take his sound beyond the UK; aiming to tour his music at all of
the world’s electronic music hotspots, from Chicago to Ibiza.
