« Hé Alexandre » est une ballade pop française cinématographique qui explore le territoire fragile entre le désir et le renoncement. Portée par une voix masculine douce et feutrée, presque murmurée, la chanson dévoile un monologue intime, adressé à quelqu’un qui ne répondra peut-être jamais. Chaque mot, chaque note, semble suspendu dans le silence d’une émotion trop lourde à dire à voix haute.

At points we have the pleasure to bring back some of the artists that’s been with us almost right from the start of our PHW project and this week we see the return of Scott Pugh aka Voxy P who once again returns to us with another fine selection of music. He’s always been a producer following his heart when making music and going his own way and we can’t say less this time as he is delivering in full flare again with his forward thinking style. This time he’s connected with US producer and vocalist Brian Hazard, more know through his music with Color Theory moniker. 

Together they bring on a great variety and two totally different styled tracks. First out is the wonderful “Promise To Me”, a track that has a full on progressive feel with smooth layers of melodic arrangements and uplifting vocals to set the pace. It’s a wonderful journey from start to finish where they both showcase their superb touch. 

To broaden the release, we see another original take a spot, going in a very different direction. We of course welcome them with open arms as we see them showcase their production named as “Use Our Hearts”. With a wonderful laid back feel, built on vocals, warm layering of sounds that goes so well together, we definitely feel the guys strikes at their very best. 

We are truly happy to see Scott return and Brian make his debut with us and we really hope you all will enjoy these two rocking beauties!

When Justin Nozuka is asked to describe his music, he uses words like honesty, passion, vulnerability, and true love. These themes have been consistent throughout his decade-plus career as a world-renowned singer-songwriter, but they have never felt quite so poignant or important as they do within the context of our world today. 

"No One But You", tipped by Complex, Spin and CBC upon release, marked the long-awaited return of Nozuka. It was his first release since the 2018 album, "Run To Waters", and found the artist exploring a new sonic direction, shifting from a folk-minded approach into a world of smoldering, down-tempo R&B/soul.  His new release "summer night o8" mines this new sound with Nozuka fusing his crystalline vocals with magnetic, woozy atmospherics which gravitate around delicate guitars and twinkling, off-kilter percussion. His new EP "then, now & again" is available now, and features the single "Break Me".
