I didn't like the monkey island dance songs I found on the web, so I made my own.

Grace

Written by Chris de Burgh in 1975, "A Spaceman Came Travelling" topped the Irish charts a year after it was released. But it wasn't until 1986 with De Burgh's success of "The Lady in Red" that the UK took notice and it reached the top charts there, too.

The idea for the song came to de Burgh when he had just signed his first recording contract, and he read Chariots of the Gods? by Erich von Däniken. The book made him think "what if the star of Bethlehem was a space craft and what if there is a benevolent being or entity in the universe keeping an eye on the world and our foolish things that we do to each other?" The song also draws inspiration from William Butler Yeats' poem "The Second Coming," and tells a story of the birth of Christ being a recurring 2000-year event heralded by an intergalactic visitor.

Anyways, here's another original piece for piano solo!

After a year like that we need to relax, and here it is a relaxing piano piece! :D

I called it ''Under the rain'' simply because here, in Italy, there are storms everywhere, so I'm a bit depressed (that's not a sad piano solo tho) :/

It's more like a ''test'' to experiment how a piece in 12/8 sounds like :P

Tell me something that I can change because, I want to repeat it again, that's a test (in spite of everything I like it) .-.

Under The Rain| Music For Piano Solo

Written by John Rox and recorded by 10 year-old Gayla Peevey in 1953, "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" was an instant hit. After Peevey performed the song on the Ed Sullivan Show, a local promoter launched a fundraising campaign to gift Peevey a real hippopotamus. On Christmas day 1953, Gayla was presented with a live hippopotamus, which she donated to the Oklahoma City Zoo. The hippo lived almost 50 years. On December 9, 2017, the city declared the day "Gayla Peevey Day," and during a special public sing-a-long with Peevey at the zoo, it was announced the zoo had acquired a rare pygmy hippopotamus.
