James Edward Armstrong has been creating ambient and drone music under the name of Slow Clinic since 2012, and performs as one half of the long- distance duo, A Home For Ghosts, alongside Neil Carter. Based in Farnham, UK, James has been running the independent tape label Rusted Tone recordings since 2018. This mix explores a number of recent releases James has been listening to, all of which have been acquired since entering lockdown.

The first Amulet unravels with a piano chord, a flurry of distant voices and a familiar dusty hiss. With a body of work equally cinematic and sonically vivid, Japanese composer yolabmi has already set a considerable musical footprint with a string of albums released on VAAGNER, Casement Exchange, Perfect Aesthetics and other initiatives. Each segment and soundscape by yolabmi appears to be a dream-like vision where intimate atmospheres, alluring melodies and unexplored experiments intertwine.
