Ashley became paralyzed and suffered a major head injury at the age of 14 following a car accident that killed her father, crippled her mother, and injured her younger sister. Years after the accident, she suffered further complications we discuss in our conversation. Ashley offers a message of hope and resilience in overcoming extreme challenges. Today, she hosts wheelchairtraveling.com and has appeared in many magazines, was featured in several podcasts, and speaks at conferences, universities, and other venues.
