Classic garage band demo. This song came together thanks to my beautiful friend Aimee and her beautiful poem entitled "Old Loon". This poem really spoke to me and I thought it had to be heard and shared. The words speak for themselves. There is a raw, mystic quality that I hope everyone enjoys just as much as I did in making this impromptu recording. Apologies for the tangy, uncomfortable guitar, impatience is something I am still yet to overcome but MEH! I needed to send this out there no matter how terrible my guitar sounds :) Enjoy and play 

Old Loon

Here is a song about...well that itchy beautiful thing we call love.
I wrote it in a time of letting go and coming to terms with appreciating the individual journey. Knowing that really there is always more to come and the best way to power through is to be grateful and welcome every experience.

Just a couple of kids, kidding around. 

Based in Sydney, Jesse and Katie enjoy the light banter and live for the easy tunes. Mixed between folk and edgy rock, Just Kidding can be described as a fusion between Angus and Julia Stone, with a spec of San Cisco. They aim to create a unique sound that is still easy on the ears. Between City and Coast the duo want to encompass the busyness of the city but the still keep the relaxed vibe of the sea. (Sounding pretty blah blah?...well too bad!) What makes their songs are the lyrics. Just Kidding aim to send a message that everyone can relate too.
