Rose Ringed is back with the three tracker ‘Synonyms for Love’, out on his Closed Eyes Recordings imprint on July 9th. The Amsterdam native musician/DJ/producer is as famed for his upbeat energy and genre-shifting style, as for his swift and sudden arrival on the international scene supported by industry figures and streaming stats alike.

Dreaming Away mingles soulful vocals, plangent piano and string chords, with skippy heartbeat bongos, upping the speed midway for a bracing ride.
‘Everyone recognizes that love can knock over your entire life in a split second. The song taps into the uncertainty, the euphoria and the hope.’ 

Lullabies Of Love lets twinkling arpeggios of fairy-light notes dance over a foot-tapper bounding beat, laced with joyful synth notes like silver trumpets. 
‘Love is never perfect. To emphasize that, I created an upbeat, cheerful track with a one-take jamming solo in the middle!’

Together With You intrigues, alternating poppy sections with choir-like synthesised vocals with more wistful melodic piano and synth phrases.

Stephan Hinz returns to Second State once again, painting the canvas of silence with his masterstroke of imposing drums and vicious hooks. 'Venom' is Hinz' latest offering and comprises four incredibly massive tunes which perfectly showcase his evolving sound of Techno's best in peak time pandemonium. 
The title track 'Venom' kicks off the EP with a devilish throbbing groove while mischievous organ stabs rise and fall generating an impeccable balance between tough and playful. 'Primal' follows up with a more devious style where relentless percussion and sinister synth stabs culminate into absolute debauchery. Switching gears, 'Out Of It’ shows Stephan twisting the track's elements into a grooving, up-beat tool with a contagious faction of ingredients that transform into a sublime trip suitable for a million situations. 
Clinching the EP is a venture into the ethereal: the aptly titled 'Shadowselves' takes a journey into the dramatic world of villainous sonics and surging tones creating a labyrinth of dense atmospherics before winding into a grand crescendo.

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’. 

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Welcome to the second part of PASSENGER 10's medieval EP.
3 tracks, 3 times the fun.
You know I always use this platform to write some nonsense about my life. So let's not break with this tradition and give you some insides about this EP of mine. I wanted to create a few more tracks to celebrate the medieval times and combine modern house and progressive house music with some cinematic and ancient sounds and melodies. As in the last EP I have a more melodic track (THURINGIA), one that is approaching the DJ world (SARACENS) and one that can't be sorted anywhere and is just a personal choice of mine (DAYS OF YORE). Let me just add, it was a lot of fun to finish those tracks and there is part 3 scheduled for Christmas this year. But with part 3, I promise, this will end and I will move on to another funny idea. And for those who know me, I don't lack of crazy ideas. The only question is, how good are those ideas... well, let me surprise you...
