This was the first Northern Sky song we ever recorded, all the way back in 2021. It started with a spark — and This Time still carries that warmth: messy hair, morning coffee, quiet rooms, and choosing someone with your whole heart.

This track is basically what happens when one person tries to stage a whole emotional Broadway show in your living room… and you just sit there like a disappointed houseplant.

It’s indie rock with jangle-pop sparkle, post-punk heartbeat, and the calm, unbothered aura of someone who has already survived three relationship plot twists, two monologues, and one mysteriously slammed door.

Here’s the dynamic:
They: changes season, mood, haircut and entire personality every four minutes.
You: “Cool. I’ll be over here. Breathing.”

They storm around kicking up dust, lighting metaphorical matches, painting imaginary thunderstorms on your ceiling like an avant-garde weather report nobody asked for.
